ChemChats are monthly open roundtable discussions on Zoom facilitated by NEACT. ChemChats are aimed at high school and college chemistry teachers but are open to all STEM teachers. Come to share ideas, come to ask questions, or just come for the collegiality.
Our topic for this afternoon is a follow up to the Summer Conference: Chemistry in the Real World. Did you miss a session or the whole conference and have questions about a session? Was there a session you now have new ideas about and want to keep the conversation flowing? Do you have a topic you want a chem connection for? As always, come to share, come to earn, or come just for the collegiality.
Files you wish to upload before or access after the ChemChat are available here on google.drive. This link will also be available in the News section of the website, as will the recording of the session.
ChemChats are hosted by Sue Klemmer. I am ZOOMING from the coast of Maine, so times are always stated as east coast time. We run 4:00-5:00 pm EST.
ChenmChats generally run the 2nd Thursday of each month from September through June. THIS one is the third Thursday.
The remainder of the fall ChemChats are scheduled for:
Thursday Sept. 11th
Thursday Oct. 9th
