ChemChats are monthly open roundtable discussions on Zoom facilitated by NEACT. ChemChats are aimed at high school and college chemistry teachers but are open to all STEM teachers. Come to share ideas, come to ask questions, or just come for the collegiality.
Our topic for this afternoon is "Assisting Multi-Language Learners in an Inclusive Chemistry Classroom". This is a repeat of a popular topic from Nov. 2023. I expect that that the landscape, the resources, and the requirements have changed since then. You can upload/download files at any time from this google.drive folder.
ChemChats are hosted by Sue Klemmer. I am ZOOMING from the coast of Maine, so times are always stated as east coast time. We run 4:00-5:00 pm EST.
ChenmChats generally run the 2nd Thursday of each month from September through June. The May ChemChat will be May 8th and the topic will be "What to Do with your Chem Class at the End of the Year."
