The Evolution of Stars - The Chemistry of the Universe
Dr. Ian Dell’Antonio will present on the “Evolution of Stars – the Chemistry of the Universe.” Stars are the most visible part of the sky, and one star in particular is essential to life on Earth. However, the process of making stars from the gas distributed in the galaxy depends on the chemistry of gas in a critical way. Dr. Dell’Antonio will talk about how molecules form in space, and how their presence allows for the formation of stars in the Milky Way and other galaxies around us.

Dr. Ian Dell’Antonio is an astronomer, a professor of physics at Brown University, and a member of Skyscrapers Inc. His research focuses on galaxies, galaxy clusters and dark matter.
