ChemChats are monthly open roundtable discussions on Zoom facilitated by NEACT. ChemChats are aimed at high school and college chemistry teachers but are open to all STEM teachers. Come to share ideas, come to ask questions, or just come for the collegiality.
Our topic for this afternoon is "Adopting Curricula and Textbooks: the Good, the Bad and the Ugly". Here's an opportunity to ask others what programs they would recommend for different types of chem classes ... and which ones you would not recommend. You can add to or access shared documents before, during and after the Chat in this folder.
ChemChats are hosted by Sue Klemmer. I am ZOOMING from the coast of Maine, so times are always stated as east coast time. We run 4:00-5:00 pm EST.
There will be no July ChemChat - that is my summer hiatus. ChemChats for the 2024-25 school year will restart August 22nd. The topic will be chosen at the NEACT Smmer Conference.
