ChemChats are monthly open roundtable discussions on Zoom facilitated by NEACT. ChemChats are aimed at high school and college chemistry teachers but are open to all STEM teachers. Come to share ideas, come to ask questions, or just come for the collegiality.
Our topic for this afternoon is "Differentiation". We know what it means - let's share questions and ideas on how to DO it. How do we do this without being overwhelmed? Where are good resources? What kinds of differentiations are most effective? You can add to or access shared documents before, during and after the Chat in this folder.
ChemChats are hosted by Sue Klemmer. I am ZOOMING from the coast of Maine, so times are always stated as east coast time. We run 4:00-5:00 pm EST.
The next ChemChat will be Math 9th (the 2nd Thursday of the month is our usual date) and that topic will be "Adopting New Textbooks and Curriculum: the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly". [We are still seeking topics for June - I take a hiatus in July.]
