NORTHERN DIVISION WORKSHOPS: KINESTHETIC CHEMISTRY

PART 1 THURSDAY MARCH 7TH 4:30 - 5:30 PM EST

PART 2 THURSDAY MARCH 21ST 4:30 -5:30 PM EST

I am pleased to announce we have two dynamic speakers, Anjana Iyer and Cathy Zavacki of Hillsborough High School in NJ, for our March Zoom workshops. They will be presenting a two-night virtual program on kinesthetic chemistry: how to use getting your students up and moving to teach concepts and skills. I went to 2 workshops of theirs at ChemEd last summer: be prepared to get up out of your chair at home and move! And while their examples are for chemistry I found these techniques translated easily to my Physics classes. The first part of the program with be Thursday, March 7th from 4:30-5:30 pm EST. You then have a chance to try out some of these techniques before the 2nd half of the program on Thursday, March 21st from 4:30-5:30 pm EST.
