ChemChats are monthly open roundtable discussions on Zoom facilitated by NEACT. ChemChats are aimed at high school and college chemistry teachers but are open to all STEM teachers. Come to share ideas, come to ask questions, or just come for the collegiality.
Our topic for this afternoon is "Solutions, Acids and Bases". What are your must-have, non-negotiable concepts and problem-solving skills? Do you have a great lab, demo, POGIL or other lesson that really gets this content across or applies it to real-world situations? How about optional activities for enrichment? Shared work can be put in this google folder.
ChemChats are hosted by Sue Klemmer. Sue is ZOOMING from the coast of Maine, so times are always stated as east coast time (even though ME should technically be on Maritime time!) We run 4:00-5:00 pm EST.
