Registration for the Annual Summer Conference is open. The 2023 Summer Conference will be held IN PERSON at Fitchburg State University on August 1-2, 2023. Share information about the NEACT Summer Conference with your colleagues and friends who teach chemistry at any level!

If you plan to stay overnight in the Fitchburg State dorms on August 1st, the deadline has been extended. You can still register for the dorm. Contact Kathy Siok (ksiok1@ric.edu) if you have any questions or concerns.

This year's theme is "Engaging Chemistry: Hands on, minds on!" Our keynote speaker will be Dr. André K. Isaacs, associate professor of chemistry at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA.

A preliminary conference program is currently available.

Apply for a 2023 Summer Conference Scholarship Today!

Scholarships are available to attend the 2023 NEACT Summer Conference. New chemistry teachers and first time attendees will be given preference, but all those who apply will be given consideration. These scholarships will cover at least half of the cost of attending the conference. Please contact Kathy Siok (ksiok1@ric.edu) as soon as possible if you are interested. You will be asked to fill out an application. We thank the Northeastern and Rhode Island Sections of the American Chemical Society and the Biennial NEACT Scholarship for their support of NEACT.
