This past year, it seemed like more students than ever were struggling with their mental health than ever before, and in class teachers observed behavior issues that were disruptive and concerning. How can we as chemistry teachers support our students, help them find productive ways to deal with stress, and develop productive classroom routines? This is an informal discussion between like-minded chemistry teachers who want to have some constructive conversations to prepare for the upcoming 2022-2023 academic year. Come to listen to other teachers’ ideas, come to share your own strategies for helping students, and come for the collegiality!
