Interested in using Storylines to teach chemistry?  In this session, discuss how to read through the resources, try it out in your class, and evaluate what works for you!  It’s not as scary as you think!  Come listen, ask questions and share your experiences.  Give your lessons meaning, integrate problem-solving skills and include more writing, modeling and small group work into your transition to using Storylines.

Speaker Bio:

Danielle Jackson is a  14 year veteran chemistry/science teacher from Westchester County, NY.  She is an active member of STANYS and AACT.  She recently  started using Storylines as a means of engaging students in learning chemistry.  Through questioning and investigating aspects of the science, she helps her students to gain understanding of how the science works while solving real life problems.
